CLAIMS
If property has been damaged or people are injured, please follow the below steps:
1. If the situation is dangerous please contact emergency services (police/ambulance/fire department) on 000.
All damage or loss involving a crime (e.g. vandalism or burglary) must be reported to the police.
Please take note of the incident or crime report number.
2. Secure the area to avoid potential injury, further loss or damage (e.g. contact a glazier/glass company or builder to make it safe)
3. Note the: time and date when the accident or property damage occurred and take photos / video to document the incident as best you possibly can.
4. In the case of a personal injury or property damage liability claim, these can be complex matters and insurance companies broadly advise that you should not admit your liability or discuss indemnity or settlement. We, along with your insurance company, lawyer or claims advisors will sort this out for you.
